Files & privacy
Honest about how uploads are handled
- Sign-in is required before a file is processed or a report can be downloaded.
- Files are checked for Excel type and a 25 MB size limit, then processed in an isolated job folder.
- Original workbooks are removed after the run. We store job history (filenames and summary counts) with your account — not a permanent copy of the source spreadsheets.
- We do not claim SOC 2, GDPR certification, or that data is never stored. Those would be untrue for this product stage.

What files can I upload?
Excel workbooks: .xlsx and .xls, up to 25 MB each. CSV is not supported by the current engine. Both a vendor price list and a system export are required.
How does SKU matching work?
Exact SKU matches are applied first. Remaining vendor SKUs are compared with a strict fuzzy ratio (93). Anything below that is not auto-matched. Description-based matching was removed because generic descriptions caused wrong prices to be assigned.
What happens when a SKU cannot be matched?
Unmatched vendor rows are listed as possible new SKUs. System SKUs with no vendor row this cycle are listed as unmatched so you can check discontinued or skipped items.
Can Pricentra handle multiple sheets?
Yes. Usable sheets are concatenated. Sheets whose names look discontinued (obsolete, EOL, and similar) are skipped.
Can Pricentra handle different currencies?
Currency can be detected from column headers or a currency column. You can filter a run to USD or CAD when a file publishes more than one.
Can I correct column detection?
Yes. After upload you see the detected header row and columns, and you can pick different SKU, description, price, and currency columns before running.
Does Pricentra change my ERP?
No. It produces a review dashboard and an Excel report. Your team decides what to update.
What happens to my uploaded files?
They are stored only for processing in an isolated temporary job folder. Originals are deleted after the run. Account history keeps filenames and summary counts. Generated workbooks remain downloadable while they still exist on the processing server.
How long is the free trial?
30 days from first sign-in. No credit card.
What happens after 30 days?
New reconciliations pause. Past reports remain. The intended price is $99/month. Payment collection is not built yet, so we are not charging anyone.
How much does Pricentra cost?
$99/month after the trial. Usage is bounded by file size (25 MB) and Excel formats the engine supports — we do not claim unlimited processing.
